1 Lightfall
One day, Alice is struck by a spear of light. The shaft penetrated her arm from palm to shoulders. Alice’s arm shattered into shards and her blood evaporated into dust, her fingers split into splinters and her bones cast into ash. The Wunderkammer devoured all of her flesh and licked up all of her blood. None remain.
Alice wished the spear away and her arms back, but she had lost her potential the instant her arm shattered. Alice’s potential bled from her wounds, her imagination drained from her and she has no future. All of which bled into the Wunderkammer she held.
In immense pain, Alice brawled her azure eyes out, which later became the sun and the moon. The place where her eyes were is now a lake. Now known as the Red Sea, this saltwater lake had never dried before even the worst of droughts.
Alice wept herself into a deep slumber to escape the pain. Her body became the land and her hair became the ocean. The Wonderland stained and sealed itself off as her bed. Therefore at the edges of this world, an invisible veil halted all from escaping.
We suffer with Alice. Alice shan’t suffer alone.
