The Knightly Order is an organisational concept prevalent in The Old Kingdom. It is a tradition engraved deeply in the culture of the Kingdoms of the world. It originated from warriors who swore loyalty to serve another person wholeheartedly without falter, with diligence, vigilance and courage. In The Modern Kingdom, knighthood is seen as the noblest master-servant relationship. Whilst originally meant for warriors, the knighting ceremony is an induction for all who share the same cause in serving a person.
“A loyal subject is worth their weight in gold.”
The process of knighting involves swearing an oath to the service of a person and their ideal. It is common to classify knights by the master they serve.
Whilst the Kingdom’s knight is the predominant knightly order, the tradition of the people of this land gave rise to a multitude of knightly orders.
