Due to the nature of the assassin's guild, information is their lifeblood. Thus any betrayer’s information can lead to tremendous compromises and damage. The betrayer hunters are assassins specifically for the purpose of eliminating those who had left the organization or had the possibility of defection, even if it was merely speculation.
